On Wednesday 4 August at 10:00, at Vestry House Museum, we will welcome the RHS Britain in Bloom judges, Sue Wood and Jim Knight,to Walthamstow Village when we, for the very first time, represent London in the national competition!
Well, what an exciting day we had! Teresa and I were up and about at 6.30 going round checking, sweeping and picking up litter!
Our London in Bloom judges, Peter Holman and Pauline McCormack arrived at the Museum at 10.00 for a press call kindly led by Ray Yates and then were welcomed by Lorna Lee, LBWF Head of Museums, Libraries and Galleries. Our Teresa Deacon made a fantastic presentation speech illustrating what we've all been up to over the last year.
