BIG CLEAN UP

 The Walthamstow Village Residents' Association will be having a BIG CLEAN UP as part of the LBWF's fight against enviro-crime and to get the Village spick and span for the London in Bloom judging on 17 July.

We have loads of things to do to get ready for the big day including painting the Asian Centre front pillars and wall, painting BT juction boxes, weeding and litterpicking.

Walthamstow Village in Bloom, Urban Community - judging day FRIDAY 17 JULY

The London in Bloom judges will be visting the Village on Friday 17 July!

We have been working very hard over the past few years getting the Village blooming! You can support our entry by ensuring your front garden and property and the pavement outside it is looking at its best for the BIG DAY!

We will be asking LBWF to do a special sweep and clean and we'll be having our own BIG CLEAN UP on Saturday 27 July - watch out for the posters.

Annual Garden Party

The Walthamstow Village Residents' Association's annual garden party at the Vestry House Museum. Free entry. Everyone welcome!

Live music, lovely barbecued food (veggie options available), homemade cakes,salads, lemonade and elderflower cordial and other refreshments, bar, craft stalls, children's activities, raffle.

Come and join the fun! Have a Pimm's on the lawn! It's a great chance meet your friends and neighbours. All funds raised go towards making the Village a better place to live and work.

NGS Open Gardens - Brunswick Street

The gardens of 60 Brunswick Street and 24 Brunswick Street will be open under the National Gardens Scheme on Sunday 28th June, from 10am until 5pm.

Tea, cakes and a range of plants for sale will be available in the gardens - both of which have been featured in the national media - with all proceeds going to charity.

The Village Pre-School Summer Fair
